Ugh..another cold

I had a sore throat Monday evening & Tuesday while in St. Louis and was hoping I wasn't coming down with another cold. I'm still not over cold #2 that I've caught in the last 2 months :(
I was going to call for IVs tomorrow for cold #2 but it's more urgent now with cold #3 in the sinus stage! I know I've said it before, but I guess I'll have to become a hermit so I won't keep picking up these darned colds!!

Too early!

Today I did a 6 minute walk test, pulmonary function tests, chest xray, blood work, they drew a blood gas :( and even had to spit into a cup (sorry if TMI!). Then I saw the pulmonary doctor. He reviewed the test results and said for us to come back in 6 months. He did say to come back sooner if I have to have frequent hospitalizations and/or home IVs or have quite a bit of coughing up blood episodes.

He also wants me to do IVs again to get over the cold I caught a couple of weeks ago, so I guess that's in my future when I return to Wichita to get myself in the best shape possible. Then I guess I need to go into hermit mode so I don't catch another cold!

So, all in all, a positve visit. I will share more detailed stuff later for those of you that are into hard numbers! lol

St Louis!

We arrived in St Louis at approx 3:30 today. Our hotel is real nice. It has a kitchen area and has a flat screen in the living area & also in the bedroom. So now Garry can watch sports or Daytona & I can watch The Bachelor tonight! lol

Testing starts at 10 am tomorrow and I should have an answer as to whether it's time to be listed or not by days-end tomorrow. I will update here if time & energy allow.

Date Set!

I heard back from Barnes Jewish & we are scheduled for testing on February 28th. I have been feeling a lot better & have more energy since IVs but will be curious to see what they say at the end of the month.
